12' Round Above Ground Pool Cover - Ratchet Strap - Black Trim

12' Round Above Ground Pool Cover - Ratchet Strap - Black Trim

Our most requested size, in classic black. Multi-point ratchet tension distributes pressure evenly around the whole edge instead of concentrating it at one buckle, preventing the wind lift that single-point closures allow. 420D Oxford fabric fits standard 12ft metal frame pools and resists fading through a full season outdoors. Notes: Measure your pool from outside edge to outside edge, then choose the cover size that matches your pool. Our covers are designed with approximately 4" of side overhang for a secure fit. If you need extra room for a pool pillow, floats, or ladder, choose 2–4 ft larger.

Product Specifications

Product Description

The 12 ft round pool is one of the most common backyard setups, and it deserves a cover built specifically for it — not a generic one-size-fits-most tarp. The FairCovers 12 FT Round Pool Cover uses a multi-point ratchet system that distributes tension evenly around the whole edge, preventing the wind lift that plagues single-strap designs. 420D Oxford fabric and reinforced stitching mean this cover is built to handle a full season of regular opening and closing.

About this item

【Take Care to Choose the Right Size】 12ft frame pools and 12ft steel-wall pools aren't always identical in outer diameter — measure your pool directly and choose one size up if you're close to the edge, to ensure better tightening and drainage.
【Multi-Point Ratchet System】 Unlike single-strap designs, this system distributes tension around the whole edge rather than concentrating it at one buckle, estimated at 900-1,000 lbs of holding capacity. That means no single weak spot for wind to work loose.
【One-Piece Tightening Pool Cover】 The ratchet tensioning system connects to the cover via high-strength webbing, enabling quick installation and removal — a locking position keeps the buckle secure once tightened.
【All-Weather 420D Oxford Fabric】 Heavy-duty material blocks rain, dust, wind, and harmful UV rays, keeping your pool clean and protected across every season.
【Durable & Tear-Resistant】 All connection points use reinforced stitching, giving the cover strong resistance to tearing under normal wind loads and repeated use.
【Keeps Pool Water Clean】 Prevents rainwater from mixing with pool water and keeps dirt and leaves away, reducing both the frequency of cleaning and the amount of chemicals needed.

Q&A

Q1: Is this pool cover waterproof? Will it block leaves and debris?

A: Yes, absolutely. Our pool covers are engineered from heavy-duty, commercial-grade waterproof and UV-resistant fabric with reinforced seams. It provides a 100% barrier against rain, falling leaves, dust, and debris, keeping your pool water crystal clear and reducing evaporation when not in use.

Q2: Will the cover blow away in high winds? How does it stay secured?

A: Not at all. To withstand harsh weather, our pool covers feature reinforced, rust-proof heavy-duty grommets combined with high-elastic windproof drawstrings (or a heavy-duty water bag/anchor system, depending on the model). The double-stitched overlapping hems ensure a snug, wind-resistant fit that stays securely in place even during severe storms.

Q3: How do I clean and store the pool cover properly?

A: Maintenance is simple. Just hose off any dirt or leaves, and gently scrub with a soft brush and mild soapy water if needed (avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing). Crucially, make sure the cover is completely dry before folding and storing it in a cool, dry place to prevent mold or mildew growth.
